A Remodeling Process Built on Trust and Predictability
We understand that concerns about budget, timelines, and quality are common when planning a bathroom remodel.
Comprehensive Bathroom Design and Installation
Our design and installation process covers every component of your full bathroom remodel. We guide you through each selection to create a cohesive and functional space.
Vanities & Cabinetry
The vanity provides essential storage and defines your bathroom’s style. Popular Southern California styles include wall-mounted floating vanities to create a more open feel and classic freestanding vanities for a traditional look. We help you choose between single- or double-sink models and integrate smart storage solutions to reduce clutter. Popular finishes include white, gray, and natural woods.
Countertops
We help you select a durable, stylish countertop that fits your lifestyle and budget.
QUARTZ: A non-porous engineered stone, quartz is highly durable and resistant to stains, moisture, and bacteria. It requires no sealing and offers a wide variety of styles with low maintenance.
GRANITE: This durable natural stone offers unique patterns and is highly resistant to heat and scratches. When sealed, it resists moisture and stains.
MARBLE: Known for its elegance, marble is a porous stone susceptible to staining and scratching. It is best suited for lower-traffic bathrooms.
Flooring
Bathroom flooring must be waterproof, durable, and safe. We offer stylish options that provide the right color and texture for your design.
Porcelain and Ceramic Tile are a classic waterproof and durable choice with limitless design options.
Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) is a 100% waterproof alternative that feels warmer underfoot than tile.
Lighting
We use a layered lighting approach for both function and ambiance, combining task, ambient, and accent lighting.
TASK LIGHTING: Crucial around the vanity, this is best achieved with vertical sconces on either side of the mirror or a fixture above it to eliminate shadows.
AMBIENT LIGHTING: This provides the room’s overall illumination, typically with recessed ceiling lights or a central fixture.
ACCENT LIGHTING: Subtle touches like integrated LED strips in shower niches or under a floating vanity add a layer of modern sophistication.
Fixtures & Finishes
Fixtures are the finishing touches that must be both beautiful and durable. CALbath partners with industry-leading brands known for quality, including Moen, Kohler, and Jacuzzi.
Tubs & Showers
A full remodel is the perfect opportunity to create your ideal bathing experience. A freestanding soaking tub can be a stunning focal point, while spacious walk-in showers are another popular option.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the average cost of a full bathroom remodel in Orange County and San Diego?
The cost of a full bathroom remodel is unique to each project. The final price is influenced by the size of the bathroom, the quality of materials selected, and the complexity of any layout changes. During your free in-home consultation, we will provide a detailed, exact quote tailored to your specific project and choices, with no hidden fees.
How long will my bathroom renovation take?
A comprehensive full bathroom renovation generally takes between 2 to 4 weeks from the start of demolition to completion. The exact timeline depends on the project’s scope, city inspection schedules, and the lead times for custom materials. While some companies promise a “one-week” remodel, our process is intentionally meticulous to ensure lasting quality and prevent future issues. We prioritize doing the job right the first time and will provide you with a detailed project schedule before any work begins.
Do I need to hire other contractors or worry about permits?
No. As a licensed Class B General Contractor, CALbath Renovations manages the entire project from start to finish.
Can I stay in my home during the remodel?
Absolutely. The vast majority of our clients continue to live in their homes during the renovation. Our professional crews are trained to be respectful of your space. We take extensive measures to contain dust and debris, protect your flooring and furniture, and maintain a clean and safe workspace at the end of each day to minimize disruption to your daily life.
How do you ensure the project stays on budget?
Adhering to your budget is a cornerstone of our process. It begins with the detailed and transparent quote we provide after your design consultation. We do not proceed until you are comfortable with the costs. If you decide to make changes or add features during the project, we address these through a formal change order that you must approve before any additional work is done. This ensures you are always in full control of the final cost. For older homes, we also recommend a contingency fund of 10-15% to cover any unforeseen issues, such as hidden water damage or outdated plumbing.
